Viktoria Silk is an El Paso born, Dallas based R&B singer, songwriter and producer who writes and produces her own records. Trained in piano, voice and audio engineering, she makes R&B and alternative R&B built from her own personal stories, and her newest single, “Moonrise,” released August 21, 2026, brings reggaeton straight into that sound.

Moonrise

“Moonrise” is the clearest look yet at a sound she has been chasing lately: taking her love for reggaeton and folding it into R&B, in English. Clef God is credited alongside her on the record.

“Moonrise” is a sexy, playful collaboration of reggaeton and R&B. Proving English reggaeton can still make you move.

Trained To Do It All

Viktoria does not wait on anybody to build her sound for her, and that goes back to childhood. As a little girl she was always singing and tinkering with the piano in the house. Her mom put her in piano lessons around age 10 and voice lessons at 12, and she never stopped.

She went on to a music conservatory in high school, then audio engineering school, where she learned MIDI and audio production. That is where the producer side of her came from. Since then she has been writing and producing original music of her own, which is rare for an R&B singer at her level.

From EDM To R&B

Her first lane was not R&B at all. She started out making EDM, and over time her music evolved into R&B, which she says is where she is now and where she loves to be.

Her R&B idols are Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey, but her production pulls from everywhere. She has made one song with Gregorian chant undertones and another inspired by drift phonk, and lately the biggest new ingredient has been reggaeton, which is exactly what you hear on “Moonrise.”

Rapture

The record that put her on a lot of people’s radar was “Rapture.” The official video dropped in March 2025, filmed by Japata Productions in Houston and featuring Spaceman Apollo, with the song recorded, mixed and mastered at Beacon Hill Recording Studios. She describes it as sexy and a bit scandalous, with a big play on religion, and the video turned heads. It has pulled in more than 13,000 views on YouTube.

Stages She Has Shared

Viktoria has already opened for Frankie J, Amanda Perez and Paul Wall, a lineup that shows how easily her music moves between R&B, Latin and Texas rap crowds. She is linking with Frankie J again this fall, opening four dates in October and November in Denver, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Tucson.

Stories First

Strip away the production and the genre blending, and her music comes down to personal experience. She writes about girlhood, sex, breakups and the special moments in between, and she wants listeners to sit with the stories and the meaning behind them, not just the vibe.
